Precision machining gives titanium its form. But for us, that was only the beginning.
With the TKF-HC, RL4-HC and CMP2-HC, we wanted to see what would happen when clean, precise titanium forms were given a more human touch. Each piece is carved by hand, gradually reshaping the surface with irregular facets, sculpted edges and textures that could never feel completely mechanical.
What we love most is how the material changes through the process. Light catches differently on every cut, the edges feel more organic, and familiar EDC designs begin to take on a completely different personality.
These pieces are still unmistakably titanium—but they feel less like something produced, and more like something shaped.
TKF-HC: Titanium Reimagined Through Hand Carving
The TKF-HC Hand-Carved Titanium EDC Knuckle takes the clean geometry of the original TKF and transforms nearly the entire exterior into a rugged, sculptural surface.
Large irregular facets extend across the titanium body, while the outer edges are individually shaped to create a raw, rock-like appearance. Instead of a smooth and uniform finish, every surface reveals the marks and decisions of the hand-carving process.
Only 3 TKF-HC pieces were created, and each features its own unique arrangement of facets, textures and edge details.

RL4-HC: Three Pieces, Three Individual Designs
With its longer titanium surface, the RL4-HC Hand-Carved Titanium EDC Pry Bar gives hand carving a different canvas.
Rather than creating three versions of the same pattern, each of the three RL4-HC pieces carries its own individually carved design:
- Dinosaur Fossil features a detailed dinosaur form carved directly into the textured titanium surface.
- Dinosaur Skull centers around a bold hand-carved skull motif surrounded by irregular rock-like facets.
- Ancient Ruins uses deep fractured lines and broken surface patterns to create the appearance of an aged, weathered titanium surface.
The surrounding surfaces and edges are also shaped individually by hand, meaning that even beyond the main artwork, every detail remains unique.
Together, the three pieces form a tiny collection—but each one stands completely on its own.

CMP2-HC: Hand Carving on a Smaller Scale
The CMP2-HC Hand-Carved Titanium EDC Compass brings the same philosophy to a much more compact form.
Its small titanium frame leaves little room for unnecessary detail, making the individual hand work particularly visible. The surfaces surrounding the compass housing, screws, outer frame and attachment area are reshaped into irregular facets and textured edges.
Instead of the clean geometry of the original CMP2, the hand-carved edition takes on a much more organic, weathered character.
Only 3 CMP2-HC pieces were created.
Because each compass is individually carved and finished by hand, differences in the facets, surface texture and edges make every one of them unique.

Because each piece is carved by hand, every cut, facet, edge and surface variation becomes part of the finished object, giving every piece its own individual texture and character. Even pieces based on the same original design will never be completely identical.
